Luke 1:24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth
conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
Lu 1:25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the
days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach
among men.
Lu 1:26 And in the sixth month (of the aforementioned pregnancy) the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Lu 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
Lu 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Lu 1:29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
Lu 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.
Lu 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Lu 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? (translation: "I am a virgin; I have never had intercourse).
Lu 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Lu 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
Lu 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
If the child had been born in any other manner than by a woman that was a virgin, any claim could have been, and would have been, made that this was not a Divine and Miraculous conception.
That is how it worked. Luke; the author of this account was a physician, a man familiar with biology and the human anatomy. There is no brain strain involved here, You need only believe. GOD will confirm.!

It does not work. The word virgin was changed from young girl to virgin. It goes against every law of nature to have a child from some god. Only in mythology does it occur.
It is myth just like the genealogy given by Matthew and Luke. Why would anyone take the time to give a genealogy of Joseph when he was not the father? The whole idea is absurd.

Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. ... 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Mary & Joseph continued to be husband and wife after the Miraculous birth of Jesus. They then had a normal family the natural way. Jesus had "half-brothers".
Matt 13:55 -- Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Luke 8:19 -- Then came to him his mother and his brethren,
It was predicted that he would have siblings in the Psalms:
69:8 -- I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. (Notice He did not father's or parent's children, but mother's children.)

Dear Friend,
Mary conceived by "immaculate" conception. Luke 1:30, 31, 34, 35
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Mary was a virgin. She did not have sexual relations with another man. Immaculate conception means that it was a "miracle." The Holy Spirit placed the "seed" of God (Jesus) in her.
Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

She was a virgin until the birth of Jesus, since she knew no man before His birth, including Joseph her husband.

God produced a miracle in her by sending the Holy Spirit to minister to her. It was not a physical coupling between Mary and God, as some would say, but a spiritual event in which God fulfilled the words of the Prophet Isaiah.

Are you saying that the story sounds far-fetched? lol
It has always puzzled me that a god that could make people out of other's ribs, couldn't just make the baby and present it to her as a gift. It would've have been much easier, instead of letting her face the shame of being pregnant and unwed.

If Mary was a virgin she must have been real ugly.
Joseph didn't even sleep with her.

She was a virgin (meaning she hadn't lost her hymn) when she was pregnant with Jesus... She didn't have "SEX" to conceive him. God created him in her womb.
