Ok, Now this will your second Christmas together, and my boyfriend asked me what I wanted and my answer was "just a simple, quiet romantic evening, just the two of us, planned by him." He is far from being a romantic, not so much as flowers on a whim here, and we are on a tight budget for the holiday season. So I am looking for some ideas I can throw his way as to a few inexpensive but completely romantic things to do. Any ideas will be appreciated.

if you want a nice romantic evening at home.....get him to light some candles. You can buy those little tea light candles in a box of 25 for around 3-5$ (aust.), buy some nice smelling incense lavender is always good and relaxing, nice bottle of wine/champagne, maybe not a huge dinner but something easy he can do like make up an assortment of platters cut up finger/bite sizes of fruits and chocolates, bite size savoury's. Clear a big space on the lounge room floor, put down lots of cushions, blankets, place candles around room and dim the lights, and have fun feeding each other sensually of the bite size snacks...oh and dont forget the music. Dont forget to do some fun things to even if its just playing cards or something...sometimes the simple things are more fun and intimate...then later after all the wine/champagne blow out the candles... oh la la use your imagination.

If your man is as romantic as mine....maybe write the suggestions down for him if he wants the help as they are not mind readers and really blokes are blokes lol. Your man can do all that for under $50 easily and fond memories that will last a lifetime will be made ;-) good luck

Oh, maybe this time you would suprise him this christmas by giving him a romantic dinner. You could do it even in home- just arrange the dinner table and cook, or in the garden and prepare a picnic. Being romantic doesn't meant to spend too much

I would rent some movies. I would also get out some candles to use while you were eating. Music is also a nice touch, and most people have some romantic music somewhere. Enjoy your evening !!

Have sex in every room of the house with the christmas tree...if it's in the bathroom bring the christmas tree in there with you. Don't forget about the pantry!
