This guy from Russia has claimed (for years, I believe) that he is Christ.

Here's the link:

What do you think of him?

I think if Christ were to have returned to Earth that we would all know it by now.

Do the names, David Koresh or Jim Jones mean anything to you?! The man is full of it.

I think that Christ himself prophecied that there would be many false prophets and anti-Christs, especially in the last days. So any many claiming to be Christ is automatically false by his own statements.

The prophecy is that Christ will descend from the Heavens in the same manner that he ascended, only with great glory and literally with the armies of heaven following him down.

Somehow I don't think that has happened yet. Because we would all know it by now. And the evils on the earth would have been purged by fire, which they have not.

you are right if Christ had returned we would ALL know it at the moment that He returns- because one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Don't need to read the link to know that He isn't Jesus.

Poor Тороп or Виссарион. He is one of many whom 'snap.'
But I do love his aim, unite all religions on Earth.
His a harmless eccentric painter gone perhaps a bit too 'wild'. That's all.

Also he does not claim that he is Jesus Christ.
He thinks he is the *reincarnation* of Jesus Christ.
There is a difference.

He is a false Christ. The bible warns us about this very thing. In the last days they will say he is in the desert, he is here or he is there. Dont believe it.

The next time we see Christ, it will be in the air when He raptures His church, the next time He will come down on the Mt. of Olives, this is the second coming. The next time He is seen, He is on the throne after He has finalized what He said would come.

5Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
Mark 13:
6Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many.
26"At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

If he didn't come in the clouds he isn't Jesus.

You "think...we would all know it by now"?

That's a very interesting opinion. On what do you base it, may I ask?
Is it the fact that it took hundreds of years for Chrstianity to foment before it finally (for whatever effed up reason) took hold?
Or is it based on something entirely personal that only you can understand?
