Don't they know how lame they look?

Like Daffy and Spread Eagle? Come on, skiers have to know how stupid they look. It reminds me of that MadTV skit, with Stewart "look what I can do, wheeee!"

So why do they do it?

Haha, nice try. I don't have to try their lame tricks because I do much cooler looking tricks on a snowboard. When I jump I spin, or do a sweet grab, or both, I don't do Daffy or Spread Eagle.

There are sweet ski tricks too. They go huge, and look good when they spin, even though they have poles which look a little messy. I'm not hating on skiing, just stupid tricks like Daffy and Spread Eagle.

Well aren't you just extra F-ing special!

Those are elementary ski tricks, maybe the skier is new to doing tricks?

I bet you fell on your sweet little tush a few times when you were learning and probably didn't do a spin or grab when you were first learning.

So instead of making fun of them, why don't you commend them for making an effort?

And who the F are you to say they look lame. If they are having fun doing a daffy or just hitting the jump, and they are not damaging the jumps, other people, or themselves, why should you care? They're not hurting you.

I see people in bright orange hunting suits come skiing too, it may look dumb, but who am I to say anything? It's not bothering me.

Grow up.

there is way more tricks than the spread eagle or the daffy. you can do the same tricks on skis as you can on a snowboard only skis takes more skill and we can probably do more tricks on skis than a snowboard

The more you're into something, the more things you would think is stupid would be more appealing. If you're not into ski..ing then their little jumps and turns would seem rediculous. Maybe you should try their stupid tricks if you think their so lame. As for me, I don't know jack about skies, except that South Park episode in Aspen...

well i snowboard and ski. i ski when i want to go fast and board when i want to do tricks. honestly tricks are easier on a board. i can spin twice as fast on a board then i can on skiis. i like to do both though. sometimes i switch it up. i will grind rails on my skiis and i will do jumps and spins and all that. i never do the spread eagle though. i think that it looks gay doing that. i watch people do it and i just think of cheerleaders.

When they get bored of throwing huge crossedup cork 10s, they do old school daffies, spreads and twisters for fun.

I agree. I reckon doing a daffy or spreadeagle on a snowboard would be WAY cooler.

I guess they do it to make things interesting. I tried skiing and u cant really do too many tricks....snowboarding is alot cooler because its so many variations to the moves you can do.

I don't know, skiers are dum, and they think they own the mountain in their preppy little outfits, snowboarders are way better, and they have way cooler tricks
