This guy got a shot because Mayweather handpicked him. Thats what good ol Floyd does! Hatton is good, but went out of his weight and out of his league. Mayweather probably won't take a tough challenge in his next fight either

He's not "overrated". He did exactly what he did in the other fights. He's just not in the same league with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Phoenix of Ronnie - let it go. If Hatton was in his prime??? Floyd is 30 and Hatton is 29. What the hell are you talking about??

ricky hatton is in no way overrated. after getting tko'd tonight, he's 43 and 1. he's the second best boxer in his weight class, behind floyd mayweather. mayweather showed the world why he was and still is the champion. he put on a clinic tonight and the entire world acknowledges that. he was absolutely dominant. but yeah, to say ricky hatton is overrated is a joke. mayweather is just better.

Just a quick statement for all the SLOW people out there who felt Floyd Mayweather "PICKED" Ricky Hatton, ummm it was Ricky Hatton who called him "OUT" after his last fight, not the other way around. I bet you Hatton wasn't even on Floyd's radar after that fight. If Hatton didn't call him out, Floyd wouldn't have bothered.

things have stages, that hatton guy was not supposed to fight the champ flyod cos he got his league. champions are born but not made like hatton. i never knew hatton until yesterday when i read his interviews en was talking shittss like a champ thus i was real dying to see him in action but only to see a short unxperienced white boy. ah i know many people don't like flyod but he is a born champion now matter how many times they criticise him. i am happy that he was given a tech knockout otherwise the net would have been dirt already buy people complaining of unfair decisions.

lmao at you. Hatton is still the best light-welterweight in the world, he just let his ambition get the better of him and went up to a weight he's too small for.
I tell you this, if this guy was in his prime he'd put Maryweather on his backside no danger...

If Amir Khan was in his prime soft lad.
