Flowers are pretty. They must have come from something good. I've been told (so it *must* be true) that God is good. Ergo, God is real.

I was raised in the belief. I lived that belief by choice for many years. Prayers not answered, nervous breakdown, so many problems. Irrational fear when perfect love was supposed to cast out all fear. When I let go of my belief in god, I became free. Free of fear, free of control by religion , just free. The most wonderful feeling in the world. I used to listen to Lennon's song Imagine and wish with all my heart it was true. Being a christian and believing in god was torturous for me. I found self worth by letting go of belief in god. I could write a book on the differences and improvements. lol maybe I will some day. Thanks, Lazarus. Maybe I go too far with my joking on here sometimes, but coming from where I come from, it is a symptom of freedom and relief.

I did star this one.

First one must seek the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. In this search both temporary and permanent truths will be seen or considered. Besides that it will be seen that truth is seen as acceptable truth, assumed truth, agreed upon truth and verifiable truth.

One can not find verifiable truth in the darkness for light is required for the verification. Consequently to discover this verifiable truth one must be in the light to find it and to understand it. In this light reasoning that was seen as reasoning before is seen for what it was which now is clear that it was a desire to do the impossible which was to verify truth in the darkness. In the light a whole new ability to reason falls into place and a whole new perspective is seen that does prove that there is, was, and always will be a God.who in fact did bring you to the light because you in a desire sought to verify the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the pure verifiable truth.

My friend it is simple for one who does truly seek pure truth to reason out that there is a God.

Gave a good day and start that search for the pure verifiable truth!!!

I was raised to believe, although throughout my life I have had many experiences of the spiritual world, prayers being answered and not, seeing & hearing things unexplainable where my faith and reason has reached many different levels. It is a never ending growth the more I get to know God and my angels personally, and the more they reveal themselves to me.

It's more than belief, it is a willingness to believe. If you want to know if God exists, then ask Him. He will answer, but will you be willing to hear?

You cannot "reason out" if God exists. You can make certain logical deductions, but in the end it comes down to faith. You either choose to believe in God, or you choose to not believe in God.

It's a conclusion that cannot be reached with reason. Only unchecked emotion and some derivative of faith.
