QUESTION: What should William Kwai Sun Chow's family return to China as their gift, as the Professor's gift, to China, to the people of China, and to his family and clan of 29 million to 40 million people, his being the emperor-designate or one of four possible?
STORY:
When I was a little boy, my parents would take me and deposit me with my grandparents for the day. I was taught to be a very obedient and filial child. To always listen to one's parents and to obey them, authorities, and the older ones. This I did and never have swayed. As one enters adulthood, things change tremendously!
As a child, my responsibilities were to look after grandfather and grandmother. I had to do all or most of the chores, which range from feeding the chickens to mowing the lawn and helping my grandmother make meals. I got to eat what she made, so helping grandmother, as a small boy, was a great joy!
As an American of Chinese ancestry, we were given codes to live by, both American and Chinese

So, today, as adults, we, I and my cousins (including the Chun, Wong, Ho, Lum, Kwock, Ing, Chang, Kam, Wu, and other Chinese family surnames) would have an incommon culture and heritage. If an outsider entered out family circle, we would know. If someone said something different from what we were taught we would know. That America is a very good nation and that its people are very just and kind as this has been how we were treated in this nation. We will advocate that China adopt American values and principles and that we, China, must change from being a communist system to a democratic one.
Americans are good people and our treatment here has been good. That true justice rest with America and its people, in their lifestyle and in the standards that they keep.

When they ask us about Professor Chow (William Kwai Sun Chow), our mouths will be silent and we will have nothing to bring back home to the Professor's family in China. His and our clan numbers between 29 million to 40 million people.
His grandfather's family is still alive in mainland China.
We are the moderates, quietly and secretly, America's ally in China. We are your guys in Asia as we are not communist. We could rightly ask, what gifts do we bring home to China? Good gifts from a loving people or negations, taunts, and harsh, bad feelings for all of our work in supporting the United States of America loyally for the past 130 years!
Three generations of our existence in America and three generations employed by the US Navy.
America is a good land that treats people well, kindly, with justice, and with honor.
