if its a little too much for a beginner what would you recommend

Actually that is a very good guitar to start with!! Good choice!

Probably... I started on a way worse guitar. Several things to avoid in guitar purchasing: never buy the first time you look, always cross reference the information on the guitar with reviews and other secondary sources. Never buy any guitar in a "Guitar Pack". They may seem like bargains, but they are bad versions of already mediocre equipment. In conclusion, yes get this guitar, but be ready to upgrade!

Well i recently got my first guitar and mine is an acoustic guitar not an electric one just a basic acoustic
