I think the turn off is not if the guy is handsome or not, but that he is desperate. You don't have to show the desperation you may feel, at least not to the girl. I guess if you make it too easy, then they won't see any challenge, and perhaps turn to guy who isnt so easily available. Whatever works. Honesty always works for me, but then, I guess maybe not, I am still single!

Well, desperate is never very becoming. You can still put yourself out there with out acting desperate. Going out and meeting new people is a given, but if you start to cling to a person you just met you will most likely scare her off. Besides, you need time to get to know her as well, what if she's not what you're looking for?
My advice is to take it slow. You can still try to meet the right woman, but try to have other things in your life that can fulfill you, and not make you so desperate. If you have other activities going on in your life, you will not only increase your chances of meeting someone with common interests, but not focus so much on trying to immediately find that special someone, which will make you more approachable.
Good luck!

Handsome, ugly or in between .........it is always a turn off for both a guy and a girl to look or act desperate. Get some self esteem and don't appear or act desperate.

Why do you women always think you can do this? No matter how much we ask or how it drags on, before we give up on you, you constantly expect us to be there for you whenever you decide on it. Obviously, this guy grew a pair of balls and decided you weren't interested in him. He finally got your message. It takes a while with some guys, but eventually, all of us will get it, if you keep saying no. Personally, I never ask anyone twice for anything. I couldn't imagine doing that. Why do you want to ask this guy out? So you can get him back to begging for your attention again? So your world will once more be what it was? Screw you. Leave the poor man alone-He might become violent if you go back to trying to play him again. He's had enough of your crap for one lifetime.

That would be alot of fun, and he can't be too desperate if he is handsome, or not. Make it a turn on if that that it does to you. Make it good.

Usually women are not attracted to desperate men. The ideal men we want are powerful, masculine, hard-working, brave, all sorts of dominant figure. Biologically speaking, that is because we female need a strong and tough man to take care of the children and make the living...

It depends on the girl. Most girls don't like desperate guys, it doesn't matter if he's handsome or not.
