a better question would be what is the difference between evoultion and creation. There is a lot of differences, but the main difference is this. Evolutionists thinks we happened by mere happenstance, creationists believe that a creator made all of creation.
Evolutionists want to divorce the the 2nd law of thermodynamics from evolution because this law states that things go from order to chaos. This law is proven everyday. we are always buying new or newer things ..... why? because the one we had is broke. when we first got this thing, it worked just fine, now it doesnt work. why does it not work? with time, the order it had that made it possible to work, has now gotten out of order and the object in question is no longer a functioning thing. Everything you get that was once functional falls into decay and becomes no good. You see this in nature and everyday life. We go to the dr, we go to fix it shops, they are sure winners in the arena of job security. All things and people and systems break down and need repair or replacement.
Evolution says out of the mire, things just appeared and began evolving into better and better things. I personally do not see any proof of that anywhere.
There are viruses and some things that mutate, but a virus that mutates is still just that... a virus. Usually mutations are bad and the thing that mutated just dies or never functions properly.

kinda depends on what you mean by religion. A large number of people in the world hold some form of religious belief and the vast majority of them think evolution explains much of what has happened in the world `as far as the diversity of life. A few loudmouthed rabid fundamentalists fear anything that contradicts their fearfully clutched beliefs.
If you are secure in your belief you don't need the validation of others believing exactly as you do. If you have doubts you need to make sure everyone agrees with you. No religion is the one true one but the truer ones must be sought.

The contrast is mainly between thousands of trained biologists around the world who have independently found thousands of pieces of evidence and...
a bunch of fake creationist "scientists" who are about as qualified as Dr. Dre to talk about science.
Evolution is supposed to contrast with a literal interpretation of the Genesis. According to common descent part of evolution, we have descended from a common ancestor. Hence when you roll your hands down your spine, you reach a tailbone.
Genesis says we were created right there. So there is a difference.

Peace and blessings be upon you
i think ;
Evolution say man originally not man but as they was saying monkey or anything , and when see baby in the uterus , they say ,look like fish before knowing the emberyology , before fingers separate and other expressions , and they take as a proof ,presence of parts in the body has no function ,"appendix". , and by that , they consider what came in religion about creating man as a man by the God is wrong , but may be developed from lower species.
The theory of evolution itself proved that it is wrong and each scientist come and make the one before him stupid and make a new theory , as who was saying that there was small animal and wanted to eat from the leaves which is high till the neck become taller and by the time become a giraffe.
And also about the appendix , they discovered that it has function and contain number of bacteria as storage , bacteria needed for digestion which may be lost or washed in increased motility of intestine , we can compensate it from appendix.
Nothing in human body has no function , everything created for a certain function and by a wonderful manner , the God have wisdom in everything.

Evolution is science. Religion is anti-science. The mindset required to comprehend and accept evolution is the opposite of that required for religion. Some people live a dichotomous existence, claiming to accept both, but the more they learn about evolution, the less plausible religion's claims are.

As I see it, there are really 3 points of view.
View A - The Universe and everything in it was created according to the plan or design of God. Everything has a purpose in this plan. Each species was designed and created specifically for it's environment.
View B - The Universe and everything in it created itself by random chance according to physical laws inherent in all things. There was no plan or purpose behind any of it.
View C - The laws of physics, biology, etc were designed and implemented by God. Once those laws were in place he sat back and watched the Universe and everything in it unfold according to his plan. God created the rules, so to speak, and the Universe created itself according to those rules. There is a plan and purpose, but God is only loosely involved in it other than the initial setup.
Many C's see themselves as belonging to both A and B, but A's and B's don't see it that way. A's tend to see C's either as B's or as undecided and B's tend to see C's either as A's or as undecided. A's and B's tend to take offense at each others views and feel the need to fight and argue with each other. They both try pointlessly to persuade each other that their views are more correct.

Some religions preach that some "god" of theirs made the world and everything in it. Since this happened in a short amount of time supposedly and this is easily debunked. It makes it difficult for the religion to exist. Disprove one thing in a holy text, and suddenly people start questioning the whole thing.

Evolution contradicts the story of Genesis. But some entries that can be read on such sites can suggest that it contradicts God. It does no such thing. And it doesn't contradict creation. Is it not a creation?
