You will be very welcome in any synagogue. If you have any Jewish friends, ask if you can go with them, so that they can explain things as the service happens.
If not, contact a synagogue in your area and they will advise you.
In Reform or Progressive synagogues, men and women sit together, and you will be able to sit anywhere you like.
In an orthodox synagogue, the men and women sit separately, so if you're not sure and it's a big synagogue, just ask anyone and they will direct you to the entrance the men use to get to their section.
I think you might enjoy Reform or Progressive a bit more, because more of the service is in English, though some will still of course be in Hebrew.
You will need to wear a kippah; when you get to the synagogue just ask and someone will give you one. Or if you phone the synagogue prior to going along, you can ask about it then.
If you go I hope you enjoy it!

Just as an addition: you should consider putting on a yarmulke (also known as a kippah)--that's the small head-covering men wear in the synagogue. There will almost certainly be a box of them outside of the sanctuary.
No, you don't have to do anything as you enter. During the service you should stand when everyone else stands, but that's about it. Have fun!
[edit] Kismet--I think you cut and pasted from somewhere else, lol.

I am a Christian and have entered a Jewish synagogue.
You can sit anywhere, but you may feel more comfortable in the back(I did the first time I went). You may be offered a yamaka or a shall, or both. It will depend on the synagogue though. You can politely decline if you wish not to wear one. Or, you may accept. That is up to you.

Anyone can visit a synagogue. If you are a man, you sit with the men. Put on a yarmulkah, and read from a prayer book that has both Hebrew and English.

definite, yet from time to time it would be stable to envision with the synagogue. i've got had Christians bypass to my synagogue previously. @The accomplice Christian: maximum Jewish human beings don't have faith that.
