Do you lock all your windows and doors before you go to bed?

We lock the doors but theres like a million windows.
I should lock them tonight.

I lock, bolt, and secure every opening to my house every night. I may not be surrounded by criminals but to be woken up in the middle of the night to a dark menacing figure only because I didn't lock a door is not something I want to endure.

Ever hear that old saying, "better to be safe than sorry"?
Don't ever be lulled in to a sense of false security.

You could wake up to someone waving a gun in your face. There are too many nut cases out there on drugs. They would break in & steal anything of value or not. When they are high, they don't care.

I just installed a security system so I could feel safer at night.

We have a security alarm system in our house, but we still lock all the doors. The windows, not so much.

We try to, but we have come home from work after about ten hours and the garage door is open and the front door unlocked, only because we forget. Luckily we have good neighbors who watch our house for us.

Well i i usually try to, but my fiance is a coal miner so he comes home early in the morning or later at night so i always just leave it unlocked!

I do. Only because I live in New England and its freezing. I guess its a personal preference of how comfortable you are in your surroundings.
