I just bought something from a fair and it's a sword and wakizashi,
now is it illegal to possess a sword in my car or carry my shortsword or a tanto knife outside my neighborhood?

how about those folding batons? and bokken (wooden hard standard sword)?

If I may have an answer from a state worker or law agent who happens to know this stuff?
