If you have to ask, then your mind is questioning if it is right.. Why start something that ...
1. is illeagal and can put a record on you and ruin your life
2. is addicting. there are enough legal additctions out there without adding illegal ones
3.be a leader.. not a follower. If ppl are pressuring you, its cuz they are feeling bad about what they are doing and missury needs company.
4.and if the ppl pressuring you are "friends" I would drop them. If they cannot respect you and your morals and answers, you do not need them as frineds!
Best wishes and hope you take my advise

Ya sure be a dope and smoke pot. After all, the losers who smoke say it doesn't hurt you. But then they are at a loss for brain cells, so why would you believe them?
You don't start out smoking crack or meth or heroin. You start with a little booze occasionally, then maybe a joint here or there. Then you try a hit of x and then maybe you trip on some LSD. Then you do a line or two at a party and before you know it you want more. Then someone makes you a joint or a sweet with a little dust or some coke in it. Then before you know it you do some H or some Meth or some Crack. And then one day you look back and realize how stupid you were to ever try that joint. But by then your teeth are rotted, you have Herpes, you have lost the kids you had by various Johns supporting your habit. All because you wanna look cool. ANd by then you are 25 and look 50. And no more cool friends because your the town druggie/prostitute. But hey, go ahead.

Smoking marijuana (pot) affects the brain, heart, lungs, and many other parts of your body.
When someone smokes marijuana, it rapidly passes from the lungs into the bloodstream, which carries the chemical to organs throughout the body, including the brain.
It influence pleasure, memory, thought, concentration, sensory and time perception, and coordinated movement.
It can include problems with memory and learning; distorted perception; difficulty in thinking and problem solving; loss of coordination; and increased heart rate.
Marijuana's effects on blood pressure and heart rate and reduced oxygen-carrying capacity of blood are greater.
Even infrequent abuse can cause burning and stinging of the mouth and throat, often accompanied by a heavy cough. Someone who smokes marijuana regularly may have many of the same respiratory problems that tobacco smokers do, such as daily cough and phlegm production, more frequent acute chest illness, a heightened risk of lung infections, and a greater tendency to obstructed airways. Smoking marijuana possibly increases the likelihood of developing cancer of the head or neck.
Do some research on pot before trying it. If you're smart, you will see that you should leave it alone. It's not worth it.

Look around at people 50-55 yrs old with grey ponytails. They are leftover hippies of the 1960's. Have a conversation..if you have time...because their recall for details is so slow due to burnt out brain cells that they are almost incoherent.
I was married to a heavy pot smoker for 16 years and it is so sad to see him decline like that- but of course he never thought he would be addicted...
So no, I don't think it is worth it.

Did you know that if you start doing something around the ages of 12-25, you'll be addicted to it for the rest of your life?
Please don't do it. It's not worth killing yourself, and I know that it may seem cool, but do you really want to take something, and then feel so vunerable that anybody can do something to you?
And if you're thinking "No, that wouldn't happen to me..." wake up, because it can, and it WILL if you do it.
And if you start taking Pot, then you'll start taking everything else and eventually die and go to jail, or have very bad painful things happen to you.
For the sake of the community, and your parents, and yourself, please don't do it...

YES , you should smoke pot , don't listen to all the retards on here , pot is not at all as bad as people want you to think it is. Pot does not give you lung cancer , it does not kill you no matter what people say , it does not make you stupid either. But dont smoke it because other people tell you , smoke it because you want to try it. IT is a great stress reliever , and helps you live a longer healthier life.
Pot is not addictive there have been studies , and smoking a blunt is not like smoking 20 cigarettes u idiot. you people should do your damn research before you decide to shoot your inexperienced mouths off.

No.
It leaves up to 4 more times the tar residue in your lungs.
You smoke 2 bunts and it's like you've smoked about 20 bloody packs... And, well, eventually you do become an indolent f*cking brainless apathetic zombie.
But, if you really want to experience marijuana use, either cook it (salt it in butter and add it to brownie mix or any other sweets) or drink it (boil it strong liquors or greasy drinks, like milk).
Pot's really bitter, so... Well... We won't lose a cancer cure if you start using it, will we? O_o

from experience its a waste of time and the people who are pressuring you to do it probably are too. get a hobby, sport, etc that you can turn to when the others want to go smoke. the same can be applied to all self degrading activities.
this is the advice i was given and wish i would have taken sooner.

While I love marijuana, it is definitely not something you should try due to peer pressure. Either way do yourself a favor and do some research on marijuana with unbiased studies. The amount of misinformation being posted on this page is incredible.

no, really no...
go on websites, google, see what could happen if you do that.
Sure, you think you wouldn't get addicted, but you could, from the first time.
People ruined their lives as a result of it.
Look at your friends, are they doing okay with all the havoc in their lives? Are they doing well in school?
