I certainly will go and see it, the Christians are making such a big deal out of it, I want to see what all the fuss is about.

Francine thinks all atheist men are gay because she's to ugly to get one.

I dont know how christians do it but myself and the people i know don't use fictional movies to validate our way of thinking. Why are religous people always seeing a threat in something when there is no threat.Think about how many people had no intention of watching that movie until christians started freaking out about it.If standing around the water cooler talking about fictional movies to validate your beliefs is something that you and your buddies do then good for you,but on't assume that an atheist would be the same way.

I'd rather see "No Country for Old Men" again. Bardem rocks.

I prefer to read the book before I see the movie version, so when I do that, I'll probably catch "Compass" on HBO in a year or two.

Water cooler? You work in a different place than I do, pal.

Your fictional god vs. admitted fiction isn't a hot topic where I work. We're too busy.

No, that's what Christians do. Only they will form an opinion and talk against it without ever having seen it.
I'll wait till it comes out on video to rent it, get busy and forget all about seeing it then return it without actually having seen it. I do that ALL the time.

If it is about God, I wont, I dont put a dime out for Christians or their beliefs. Wish churches were all taxed. Religion, what a lame excuse not to pay taxes

I read the books and didn't really see anything in there that could be classified as "anti-god" but I'm fairly liberal when it comes to such things.

I am not really into Children's Books or Movies. I do like the premise of the Books though.

Originally, I was not going to see it because it is not my kind of genre. However, after all of the controversy I will probably see it for discussion purposes.

Didn't know of its existence before the whole mess, read the book, don't want to see how that crap works as a movie. Why? ... are you asking me out?

EDIT
------
So you're asking me to pay?
