as a christian i have to say that if we try to make this country only christian we weaken the place. because we take away the right to choose our own paths and how we shall live. that is something God gave us all. so we have no right to try to take that away.

The courts need to start taking a more literal interpretation of the constitution. None of the original Framers of the constituion used the words "Seperation of Church and State" on any legal document. That phrase comes from a letter Thomas Jefferson was writing to placate a baptist chruch that they would be safe." The constitution just forbids the "establishment of a government sponsored religion." It's ok to mix theology and government. at least that was the framers' intentions.

i dont belive we need to make america a christian nation. we do need to prevent the atheists from passing laws that go against the freedom of religion. in some counries where atheists are in the majority, a pastor can actually be arrested for saying that homosexuality is a sin. and you can be thrown out of a public building for wearing a cross, hijab, ot yamuka. theyre trying to do the same thing here and we need to stop them.

I think you folks need to start following your own laws before passing new ones. Christians still seem to be having a problem with the "thou shalt not commit adultery", "thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife", and "thou shalt not kill" commandments. Work on those first.

How about making a law that all Christians pick a time of day and pray to God to make this a Christian nation again.
II Cron. 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Keep doing what you are doing, book burning, film banning, removal of personal freedoms such as speech and medical preferences. Outlaw any other religion. Ban fact based educational programs such as the history and discovery channels...basically reduce the current standard of living to that of a third world country or less

We need to pass a law that says, Yes, Jesus did rise into the sky and become a god.
Oh yes, and when a woman is molested in the city, she gets the same punishment as the guy who molested her, cause she didn't yell loud enough. (Read Deuteronomy)
If she's molested in the field, don't punish her.

Maybe insist that all Christians be Christ-like. That would solve a load of problems.
