we spend hours and hours monthly worshipping god! their is NO proof at all that any of his stories are real! We make donations to the church to somthing that may not be real! We pray to someone who may not be real!
Why do we do it?
I dont know if i completely am convinced their is a god or Jesus but what i do beleive in is the life style other than worshiping him! What is your opinion on god

I believe in God and Jesus is my Savior. I do not go to church and I do not donate money to any church. I don't spend hours worshiping. I lead a good life and assist those in need. I try to be the best person I can. That is as far as my religion goes.

I accepted Jesus into my life at 48 years old, after feeling suicidal and depressed for years. He is real, and He is God. There's the Trinity you see, that means that God came in human form as Jesus to convince the world, but when they didn't accept him they killed him and he came back as the Holy Ghost to be our comforter, our adviser and our saviour.He took everything you ever did, past, present and future to give you everlasting life, like a friend that would take a bullet for you. No other religion has a God that died for you. and then rose again to give you eternal life. All the others died as men. This is what it means to be born again, as he was. He gives us the chance to also be born again after we die physically. He's the only one who died and rose from the dead, so that it could also happen to you. I have been supernaturally healed of arthritis, sinus problems and a torn ligament in my knee that all my doctors told me was inevitable.I never had that operation, because I was totally healed and they couldn't figure it out. Accept Jesus in your heart, just you, all by yourself. And then find a good teaching church that tells you how to work the word of God. It changed my life!

I think that you can believe in God without all the other BS.. And don't be fooled to think that your prayers are answered by God, God gave us will power to change and direct our lives the way we feel fit. You are your decider. God is just there to help you keep strong, just by name alone. Thinking that we are living our life the way God meant us to should be enough to keep you happy.
Sometimes it's hard to keep faith, and sad as it is most the time it's because other Christians make it such a difficult task, by filling your head with crap that you want to believe but can't because nothing they say seems to work. Like praying, or donating money, worshipping, being faithful to your religion. Just live your life knowing right from wrong, keep faith in whatever you believe and don't give to cents to what others tell you to believe...

Silly human being, that's not the right path.
Turn around and take a left on the path you took a right, then when you find yourself at the beginning start over and walk backwards.

My opinion is hypothetical..
That if an omnipotent being wanted there to be concrete proof... then there would be concrete proof. The argument for proof is trumpt by the requirment for faith in all religious ideology. Why would an omnipotent being require us to have faith if it intended to provide proof. It's not logical to require proof and in turn require faith. Last I checked omnipotence is not synonymous with an illogicial process.
However, in retrospect there happens to be a great deal of things that we (humans) can't prove. I wouldn't be so quick to discount the existence of something we can't prove. Proof is required for science.. and in science we have a theory... 20 years from now we will have another theory and it will be wrong.. but less wrong.
As far as "why we do it" thats easy. If you have faith.. you believe and therefore "will do it". As far as the collection plate, multiple denominations, and competing ideologies, etc.. I would venture to guess these would be products of human ignorance... I could be wrong, my degree in omnipotence is hanging next to the rest of everyone else's on YA. *Shrugs*

I worship the one true God:
God the Father, Lord Jesus Christ, & The Holy Spirit, ONE God forever and ever! Amen!
I worship Him and give Him thanks and praise because without him, I'd be lost without His love and guidance. God loves me and wants the best for me. God does exist! I can feel Him working through me more and more by the day! I can feel Him in me whenever I make testimonies about Him!

Christian worship God and Jesus because we love Jesus and God. Christians believe God sent Jesus to die for the worlds sins and then Jesus was resurrected. If we believe by faith In Jesus we are Christians we will go to heaven when we die. We worship Him for Jesus dying for us, we worship Jesus for helping us live life, and we worship him for what He has waiting for us in Heaven .
