Am I too tall?

Question

I am 15 going to be 16 this month, I'm a sophomore and I'm 5'9" there are girls who are a little taller than me but for some reason people notice how tall I am and pay little attention to them. I'm not fat I'm pretty skinny. Does being this tall intimidate guys, or make me less attractive. Someone's question on here got me thinking too much about this.

My personality is good, I'm not mean, I'm sarcastic sometimes, but I know how to control my sarcasm. I'm not ugly, I think I'm okay and I'm shy but not so shy to the point that I'm insecure. sometimes it does get to me since people repeat over and over again, as if I were oblivious to the fact that I'm tall, but I don't slouch or try to make it less noticeable. I know I'm not the tallest teen but there is a difference at my school, not everyone is as tall as me, there are guys who are way taller, but they still go for the shorter girls.

Does it intimidate you like, "Eh she's too tall, it's weird." or like you get too shy to actually flirt with a tall girl..?

You have no choice how tall you are. I would think being tall makes you more desireable to men. As far as intimidating, I'd say it's not. I think most girls would do anything to be your height. Don't worry about that, enjoy your life.

you're thin and that adds to the illusion that you are taller than you seem. You are almost finished growing. Most girls grow until they are 18, you may get a little taller or a lot taller. When I was 15 I was 5' 5", I grew 3" more by the time I finished growing at 18.

Your height will be fascinating to most guys and intimidating to guys who have a narrow idea of how a woman should be--you won't want them anyway.

I have a friend who is 5'9" and she is in 7th grade! she just turned 13 and shes probably one of the tallest girls in her grade. although she hates it right now its really going to work out for her when she gets older. as for you, i don't think you have to worry becuz right now most of the guys are getting taller anyway so i don't think it should be a problem. You are lucky, ur tall and skinny, ..alot of girls would give anything to be that.

Too tall? I don't think that everyone is the same height
just as not everyone has the same shoe size.
I am 5'5 one of my Sisters is 5'9 everyone is different
if the guys are intimidated by that who wants them anyway.
height doesn't make you less attractive...you could be a model...they are always tall and slim.

I'm 5' 10" right now and I love it!! lol, it works really well if you get a bf thats a little taller cuz you can stare him right in the face and show him how mad you are at him, or just look at his beautiful eyes lol!!! and no i've got some short (guy) friends that like girls that are taller then them better, it just depends and if they care about your height that much then ignore them

Girl, get ready! You're about to find out how great it is to be a young, tall, thin woman.
Us guys love tall, thin women. If a guy is intimidated by you, just move on, there'll be plenty of other guys for you to choose from.

No way, my friend Laura is 5'11" and she's awesome. Some guys will be intimidated by taller women, but that leaves two options, Look for guys who don't care, cuz most don't, or date taller guys. Nice thing is, basketball players are tall, and make TONZ of money. :D

I'm a freshman and I'm 5'10 1/2". My boyfriend, whose 5'8" has no problem with me being taller than him. Also, one of my guy friends, whose a senior, said that he liked how tall I was, it made me stand out. Not every guy is going to think your height is bad. Plus, guys like long legs :)

Don't worry about it. Who cares? I'm 14 turning 15 in January, and now I'm like 5"6 or so.
