Does my DVD player play VCD's?

I am interested in buying a Polaroid Portable DVD Player model# DPA-00710S froma friend. I was wondering if it will play VCD's. Does anyone know? Thank you.

since it plays cd-rw, it should be able to play vcd cause it's just recording a video on a normal cd

some players do some don't-look in the machines specs.
