Well then, there goes the whole life by chance theory!\
According to your parameters, no one has ever seen it, and it can not be tested, so why do you have 'faith' in it?
Anyone else see the 'straw man'?

But on the other hand:
If you can't see something, and can't test for it, than how do you know it dosen't exist?
The fact that faith is not a fact, is not a fact.
There is faith and there is proven fact of faith, you're just confusing it with solid, scientific, evidence of God.
Two different categories. One is spirituality, the other is somewhere in science.

Everyone has faith , even you..you have faith that chair you're sitting in at the computer is going to hold you up you don't know for sure it will ..you have faith your car will start each day when you put the key in.. everyone has faith , to some degree ...How do you explain the 'wind' you can't see it but you feel it , you see it move things like leaves and such....what is better seeing or feeling? I did a poll on here on that very subject , most people said feeling was more important ...you can feel God ........

True faith is NOT fact. It is amazing that some of the posters here have tried to use the same logic with, air, quarks, and even evolution.
These close-minded people have not or refuse to know about the purpose of scientific research as well as scientific observation.
The use of logic and reason can also show that god does NOT exist. Of course I am certain that religious people will use the same cop-out answers to that question as they are doing to your question.

Well, that still leaves mathematical proof, doesn't it? And there's always observation after the fact... If you see what that something has done, then you can assume it must have existed. You know?
Like, imagine there is an unobservable phenomena that leaves neat square holes in objects. If you see a hole appear where there wa no hole before, you can assume the phenomena took place.
So, basically you can't observe it directly, you can't see it... but you can see the effect it had.
And yes, faith is not a fact.

Faith can be based on facts. What Christianity claims can be tested. Many things have been shown true using science. For example the places and people of the Bible are shown to be historical fact. Also there are things such as the water cycle which were not commonly known at that time which are mentioned in the Bible. If Christianity is true it is a fact whether you believe it or not.

Faith is belief in things not seen. It is indeed fact. Just because you haven't seen the core of the earth, does that mean it doesn't exist? You believe there is a center of the earth by faith. Man will probably never dig deep enough to see the center of the earth, however that doesn't make it not exist. You can use logic to find out that there is something beneath us.
In the same way, truth always adds up logically. The bible can be tested and believed even without seeing heaven or God himself.
But why don't you? Because you Love your SIN!
STOP SINNING!

Faith is believing in something without the benefit of proof or evidence. If christians are correct that everyone does have an eternal soul or LIFE Energy that is so IMPORTANT, wouldn't a person what as much proof and evidence as to what they are bettign their souls ON?!?
One should note though that Chrisitans are SELF Professed sinners. If a sinner is willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god, the truth IS that nothing is really sacred to these vile people. If a sinner is willign to LIE and defy their OWN god, how can a mere human expect a sinning christian to tell them the 'truth' or act 'morally' .
If ya cannot see something, as with science you create a way to see it, measure IT, and define IT. THe sciences did that with micro scoptic organisms and planets in OTHER galaxies.

To Creation below- Yes actually Evolution does have fact to back it up, it is tested, and there is proof. You just have never looked for it.

No. You are correct, faith is NOT a fact, but that doesn't mean it isn't real or doesn't exist. For example, I bet you believe that you believe in love, but you cannot determine if love exists. Love is real, even though you can only test people's actions and cannot really tell whether they are doing things out of love or not.
