Okay, I have a Canon PowerShot A520, and I dropped it from maybe 4 feet onto hardwood floor. The lens is stuck, and whenever I turn it on, all I get in ER18 on the bottom of the screen. Any ideas on fixing it? Please, thank you.

Only the obvious, take it to a repair facility.

I did the exact same thing (only I dropped mine on the sidealk) and was told I was better off shelling out for a new camera than try to get it repaired. Was tod it would be cheaper to get a new camera if you can believe! This was from a place that sells cameras though --so I guess one has to take that with a grain of salt.

if u have a warranty on it u can try to get it fixed by the company by calling them up and they will do it for but if not call the company and they will refer u to a specialist who can fix it for u it shouldnt cost that much to fix maybe around 20 - 30 dollars i should know from experience lol hope that answered your question
