Then answer the question above, pertaining to it. Thanks!

To "hisgloryisgreat" -- Thanks for the LAUGH!! I'm still chuckling as I write this! (And... btw... you ARE aware of what it says in 1 Cor. 5:12-13, aren't you? NONE of your business!!)

To "tcid" -- Substitute LYING for "same-sex marriage." THEN let's see what you have to say. That's one of the Big Ten... and **everyone** does it.

To "Kees H" -- If my blog had existed 50 years earlier, and had been dedicated to opposing segregation, would you have expected me to welcome comments from the KKK? Do you think any "fair-minded" comments would have emanate from KKK members?

**Think** about that. The agendas of the RRR Cult are just as loathsome as were those of the segregationists -- steeped in hate and ignorance. Thus, it would be totally unreasonable for me to expect anything *fair-minded* from an RRR cultist.

To "hisglory" -- AWwww! You removed the *funniest* part of your answer. (Didn't feel inclined to stand behind it, huh?)

As for my defending gays right to marry each other, have you considered the fact that whether married or not, they're going to have sex *anyway* -- and that marriage probably won't cause any increase of that? And that since marriage is an additional incentive to be monogamous, SOME gays who marry almost surely will dodge the AIDS bullet that otherwise could have killed them? (So I love it when so-called "pro-lifers" whine about same-sex marriage(SSM); that last fact shines a VERY bright light of hypocrisy upon them!)

Bottom line: Defending SSM isn't promoting gay sex. And it IS nothing other than compassionate **common sense**. Same-sex marriage is totally, 100%, harmless!

To "ticd" -- With regard to the last paragraph of your answer -- please see my response to "hisglory," immediately above.

2007-12-08 18:50:35 · update #5

To "tcid" -- You are cofusing *promoting* gays having sex with *defending* gays getting married. That's apples-and-oranges. Sexually-active gays will have sex whether they are married to a same-sex partner or not. Thus, I am defending their right to marry because their being married is harmless. And, in fact, it's beneficial to them, because it gives them an added incentive to be monogamous -- and thereby eliminate their chances of contracting an STD! So the legalization of same-sex marriage almost surely would save many lives! What rational, compassionate, and truly Christian person could possibly oppose *that*?

Your link contains a browser hijacker attempt that not everyone may be aware of. I'm sure it's not intentional on your part but I'd suggest that people think twice before opening it. In the future, cut and paste the question you refer to if you require honest answers. ANOTHER EDIT: It did happen when I followed your instructions. I in no way mean to demean you or your inquiry, I'm simply saying that I encountered a problem. Also, thank you for bringing the problem to my attention. Perhaps I'm not as protected as I should be and I will look into it. For that I thank you. EDIT: I did your way, and it still no matter how fast I clicked for every click it opened up two more undesirable windows, so much so I quickly realized what was going on and powered down. I'm just letting you know that not everyone has the same immunity you may enjoy. No offense intended. Just letting people know to think twice. And please, just call me Juan in the future. Thank you for your thoughts. Unless you think you are super protected I wouldn't suggest checking out the link. Sorry to be a downer on you dude.

its called spiritual damage......

ananias and sapphira didn't "hurt" anyone when they withheld
the money they were gonna give God, yet they were punished for it to protect the church...

in the OT

"Jos 7:21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it. "

achan didn't "hurt" anyone by keeping these things in his
tent that he was not suppose to have...but the whole tribe
suffered for his action...

when we allow things in our lives that God has said not to
not only can YOU suffer but those around you can suffer
also....

God has made it clear that what is being done between same
sex people is a sin...for us to "sanction" it will cost us ALL in
the greater picture we become partakers of that sin if we
condone it...

EDIT:

as to "lying" show me someone whos "promoting" lying openly
and i'd be more than happy to stay away from them and publicly
chastise them with 2-3 witness's or if they still dont
get the message keep them from partaking in church services.

good try but no ceegar for you...

Your comments are welcome at the end of each posted article! (Hateful ones, though, will be deleted. Bigots visiting here are invited to read, and even to post fair-minded comments, when possible. But not to spew vitriol, propaganda, or lies.)

How does one comment fairly and not spew vitriol when you yourself goad people who donot agree with your point of view?

"Just to rub it in..." This type of
comment will definitely generate what you don't want. So on that note I will not comment further on your blog because it is obvious you really don't want fair comment.

Sorry, don't have time to go to other links but the way I see it, no gays came to my wedding to protest my husband and I getting married so I have no problem with gays getting married ... to whomever they want.

Have you forgotten that Jesus Christ died for the sin of ungodly man?

Do you ever think about what the cost is to those who have not repented when you stand up for their right to sin with impunity?

It says very clearly in the Torah/Bible that you are not allowed to. That's why I oppose it.
