JR!!!!!! The 8 has been a good number for him before this past yr. Now it will be the Double 8 and with an owner who cares. Rick Hendrick's has lost a son & JR. a father, so Rick probably has an understanding of JR. better than most owners do. JR's rock (#3) is gone, but he will come back, stronger than ever. I lost my only son in a car accident in June, so I can honestly say, it is hard to lose someone you love. Both of them have lost a loved one. They do understand each other.

I think Toyota will be the biggest surprise in 2008. Kyle Busch will run all out, Smoke too...

I think Bobby Labonte will be the biggest surprise. I think this year will be his year to shine. Seeing as he started doing better towards the end of the year. I cant wait to see that number 43 shine this year!

I'll be surprised if Jr wins. But look for Aric Amirola to be a surprise, well now it won't be not that I let it out.

all the open wheeled drivers. out of them all, id say Juan Pablo Montoya to be the biggest surprise. i see him winning more races, and if he does well, make a spot for the cup at the end. i don't see him winning the cup though.

Putting that aside, I think Dave Blaney will be the biggest surprise, when he starts winning races for BDR. There should also be plenty of other surprises.
