Raw eggs are excellent for dogs, made even more excellent if you include the shell. The shell is full calcium.
Don't worry about salmonella, while dogs can get it chances of it are very low unless your dog has an already compromised immune system.
As far as raw egg causing a biotin deficiency, yes this can happen, but your dog would literally have to sit and eat nothing but eggs all day long for it to happen.
One egg a few times a week is plenty.

I am not surprised at the answers on here. My opinion is that eggs and eggs with the shell are great for dogs and although it might not be something I do everyday, it is still good for them. There is less controversy about cooking them of course but according to everything I have researched, it does seem to weigh more heavily on the side of being perfectly fine and very healthy to serve the raw egg with shell. Here is an article I saved for myself where they tested:

You dont seem to lose anything by cooking them though.
You should be careful if you live on a farm or near one. If you feed raw eggs there and let the dogs go at it they might start stealing from chickens once they figure out 1+1=2....

I mix a raw egg in with my dogs food at least 2-3 times a week. I've been doing this for over 5 years, it's a good source of protein and keeps their coats healthy and shiny.

Raw egg is one of my dog's favorite treats. I get the egg out of the fridge and hand it to him. We go outside and he rolls it around and plays with it for a little while then crushes and eats it. Eggs are very good for dogs including the shell. Not necessarily every meal but once a day or so is great. Dogs have a higher acidity and shorter digestive tracts which means that bacteria and food don't sit as long in their intestines. This decreases their risk for illness.

raw eggs aren't good for anyone, including dogs. Your dog is best left on kibble, which is better for their diet and digestive system. Occassional table scraps are ok but definetely not raw eggs. Dairy products are extremely bad for dogs.

Raw eggs can carry salmonella-so always cook the eggs before giving them to any animal that is domesticated. Some wild animals have built in resistance to these kinds of things, however domestic animals have lost it due to being taken care of and not having to fend for themselves.

Raw eggs could have Salmonella in them. I would not take a chance on it. Cook the egg first.
