Take some tylenol and a cool (not cold) shower. Drink plenty of water and get some sleep. If that doesn't break the fever, go to the doctor in the morning. You can take 2 tablets of extra strength tylenol every 4 hours until then.

How do you know it's rising for sure? You should be taking ibuprofen or something to bring it down. Fever is a result of your body trying to fight off an infection so could be viral like the flu or bacterial if you have other things going on. Take care of yourself!

No, the flu has high fevers.

Throw off some of the blankets and drink cold water to help get your core temp down. If it gets up to 107 you get brain damage. If necessary (likeif you reach 104.5) put a cold washcloth under your armpits to cool the main arteries. Don't bundle up warmer and sleep it through.

I have no idea, but that is a way to high fever. Have you taken any asprin. Im thinking you should unless you are taking something thats been perscribed by the doctor already. Maybe you should go to the hospital. This sounds serious. Tell your mom you want to go. You wont regret it, i promise.

that is getting to the point it is too high. take a warm bath and use Tylenol to bring your temp down. if this continues see the Dr. you may have an infection that set in because your immune system is weakened from the flu

You need to get to the ER tonight! The fever does not seem to be breaking on it's own. Drink cool water. Use a cool moist washcloth on your face and neck. I nearly died from a UTI infection fever.
