I am writing a novel and having trouble locating this information. I know Leavenworth only houses male convicts. So...unless women in the military never commit crimes, possible, but unlikely, they have to go somewhere. Help?

They are housed at NAVCONBRIG Miramar, which is on MCAS Miramar in San Diego, CA. That is also where Top Gun was filmed. I hope that this helps. Good luck
