In a nutshell we believe Jesus Christ is our Saviour and Redeemer. He is the head of our church. We believe in modern revelation and in a prophet. We believe Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he, with God's help, translated the Book of Mormon. We believe the priesthood keys have been restored to the earth. We believe families can be sealed together forever with that priesthood power. We believe in God the Father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. They are three beings but one in purpose.
Our beliefs are so in depth that it would be difficult to go into deep doctrine in one answer. Was there anything specific you were wondering about?

See the links below.
The 2nd link tells you about Mormon beliefs as well as some other false cults.
The thing which is really confusing is this:
Mormons use many of the same terms as Bible believing Christian but those terms mean something totally different to Mormons.
150 years ago the Mormon prophets were saying its ok for a many have 33 wives, eleven of which are teenagers including some as young as 14.
What would you call a religion which teaches that the "prophet of the new religion gets 33 wives including eleven teenagers"?
I'd call it a sex cult.
And they actually believe that a Mormon man can't get to highest place in heaven unless they have more than one wife and they teach that that rule can never be changed.
It was changed in the 1890's so that the US Congress would allow Utah to become a state.
They used to discrimate against blacks until the US Supreme court agreed that the IRS could revoke the LDS or Mormon tax exempt status. That was way back in 1978.
A day or two later, after that US Supreme Court ruling the LDS false prophet decided that since he loved money more than he hated blacks, that it was now ok for blacks to become priests in their church.
Except for pressure to behave put on them by the US Govt., the LDS church would still allow each man to have many wives and would still discriminate against blacks.
Every statement I've made is well documented and correct.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormonism) is a beautiful Christian religion. Because Mormons believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ and consider Him to be the way to salvation, they are clearly a Christian denomination. It is true that they are not an orthodox denomination (they are neither Protestant, Catholic, nor Eastern Orthodox), because they don't accept the post-New Testament creeds, but their Christ-centered theology clearly qualifies them for the Christian label.
You should be extremely careful when trying to learn about Mormons from others. There are many who hate the Mormons and spread lies, distortions, and conspiracy theories about them. Others think they understand Mormon doctrine because of "what they've heard," but are actually misinformed.
Because Mormons are Christian, we believe in most of the things that Christians believe, including:
1) Christ is divine and salvation comes only through Him.
2) The Bible is the word of God.
3) Men ought to love one another.
Mormons are a unique branch of Christianity, however. We are neither Catholic nor Protestant, so naturally we have some different beliefs. Most of the differences are minor. One significant difference has to do with the authority to act in God's name. Mormons believe that soon after the death of Christ and His apostles, the early Christian Church was greatly influenced by Greek and Roman philosophies and political pressures. Despite the efforts of many good men and women, the true Church of Christ was eventually lost because of these outside pressures and internal, man-made changes. Mormons believe that God reestablished the original Church of Christ in 1820 through a man named Joseph Smith.

Hope this helps! Mormon Christianity has changed my life by helping me better follow Jesus Christ.

At lds.org you can search for our basic beliefs. The are called "The Articles of Faith." Cliff Notes version:
Believe in God, Jesus, and in the holy spirit. We believe that Christ suffered in the garden and died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. We believe in the whole story of C-mas and Easter.
We believe in heaven and in prophets. What makes us different and wonderfully special is that we believe that the doors of heaven have not been closed. Meaning, that God still speaks to prophets in our day. We have a prophet and 12 apostles at the head of our church.
Check out the site. It is pretty cool. I converted as an adult and is was the best thing I ever did. (other than marrying my husband! :)
