I just wanted to know why. I have nothing against it, just want to know why. I seem to find no glitches with it.

In my opinion it's because the PS3 has a high price and not as many games are avaliable. The XBox offers great quality while the PS3 offers extreme quality. But who said that gamers are looking for extreme quality? The Wii is famous for it's potional gameplay while the XBox is famous for its social gameplay but in my opinion, not many people are looking for quality gameplay at the price.

From nov 06 to march 07 that would be 5 months the ps3 sold 5.5 million consoles. That would be more than the 360 sold in it's first ten months of release from Nov 05 to sept 06. Not bad.

Since june the ps3 sales have increased 198% . which means in it's first 13 months of sales only including 2 black fridays they will have more than double the sales of the 360 in the the first 13 month period since release it's release.

360 sales numbers include the 33% of all 360 sold that are replaced by new 360 from people using the extended warranties they bought at the stores. So the 11.5 miilion consoles that Microsoft has stated they shipped and sold translate to only a little more than 8 million actual 360 households that have a working 360. These numbers only include the retailers reports on 360 red ring of death returns and don't include the 360s sent directly back to microsoft for a new one to be "shipped" to an existing 360 customer. So the 360 out since Nov 2005 and having gone through 3 holidays isn't really doing to well is it?

G4 the gaming station and website so totally pro xbox actually gave the results of a survey THat asked What do you want this christmas in electronics.... Ipod was first PS3 second , Wii 3rd and 360 dead last.

I don't know if you know, but Sony's sales on the PS3 has increased a lot since the release of the 40GB PS3.

The PS3 is selling well in my opinion considering the fact that the PS3 cost more than the Xbox 360 by a lot of money for about 6 months before Sony cut the price on it. Sony has sold half of what the Xbox 360 has sold in just about 1 year, so the PS3 is doing well.

And if you want to talk about sales, just wait until Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out in June..... PS3's will be flying off of the shelves by the thousands. Basically, I think that a lot of people that are interested in buying the PS3 are just waiting for more blockbuster games to come out, and next year Sony's biggest games are coming out.

C'mon, there is 245% increase in sales since Black Friday. You just don't read news. People ARE buing PS3 now. Frybox 360 and nooby Wii are losing a console war.

But for a lot of people PS3 is too expensive. It took me some time and effort to save money on mine too.

It is so expensive, but blue ray alone cost the same amount so really ur buying the blue ray and u get the ps3 free.. technically. Also the in thing now is the nintendo wii... and i really dont advise getting a xbox 360 almost everyone i know who has bought one had a major problem with it and had problems dealing with the company and sending it back.

I already own a PS3 but it doesnt take brains to figure that out.The PS3 is expensive plain and simple.I work so it wasnt that big of a deal but even with the 40GB version currently at $400+tax thats still alot but as soon as it gets more affordable because $400 is still alot to the average customer no matter what.

People are buying them, in Japan now they out number the Wii, partly due to stock problems with Wii. Also with the red ring of death from microsoft, the ps3 is the gamers choice.

ITS TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Not to yell at you... I seem to see this question repeated (and not only on this site, but in real life as well). Most people are casual ex. casual sex, casual friendships, casual gamers. If you aren't hard core, ~$5-600 for a system is too much. Even the hardest core gamers I know don't have one (because guess what--they are broke b/c they spend all of their time playing games.)

1. People think $500.00/$600.00 is a lot of money.

2. Some of the more famous games arent coming until 2008.
