You shouldn't feel that way after hernia surgery as I had it with no problems at all. If you have a cold feeling you might have an infection coming on so if not better in about a week, you need to call doctor the did your hernia and tell him. hernia should have been and in and out procedure and you should be abck to normal after about two days, so seems you might have an infection setting in. so keep watching out for it and if not better than call dr.

Your body needs to rest, surgery is traumatic to your system.

Go to bed when tired, stay warm, don't over exert yourself, stay out of crowds (you can catch something because you are vulnerable now).

Be sure to eat healthy, drink water (people can be dehydrated from surgery) and take it easy.

If you continue to feel this way after a couple of weeks, be sure to contact your doctor.
