i have a reoccuring dream of being crucified?

Question

sometimes i am being crucified, and sometimes I am actually involved in the crucificion. This has been reoccuring since I was a child.
Does anyone else have these dreams (like everyone has one about flying)...any interpretations of what it might mean?

I think that it might mean that you are saying to your friends and family when they apologize "it's okay, or "I forgive you" and you just let it go really really easy. And for the person who has five kids and has the recurring dream of man with a knife, you should see a therapist to see what it means. Don't eat late at night. When the dream first appeared in your childhood, it may have been evoked by seeing an image or hearing the story of Jesus, and being very frightened and/or fascinated by it. Then it may have started symbolizing feelings of persecution or martyrdom where you identify sometimes with the victim and sometimes with the persecutor.

This dream sounds really scary to have, I must say.

I cannot even begin to tell you what I think it means, but I do have a recurring dream myself. In mine there is a man who I seem to know in my dream even though I've never seen his face and anyway..
He is chasing me and my kids through an old, empty parking building. We all seem to know that if he catches up to us, he will kill us all. So, in my dream I always tell the kids to run and I let the killer find me so that he can hurt me instead of them.
Each time in my dream, he raises his knife as if to stab me to death and then I wake up...
It bothers me pretty bad, but I have never known what it meant. Good luck in finding the meaning of yours...
