Actually, I prayed about it. I asked God if I could have the honor of being a Martyr for Jesus Christ.

I'm not sure I picture exactly how I'll die, but I do think about possibly dying in my sleep and wanting to make sure I'm dressed, so I dont scare the paramedics to death. I thought this was a little strange until I was talking to some other older women and found out it's a common thought. I dont so much think about how I'll die or when. I like surprises.

Yeah. *shudders* My family is all in the medical field, so I've heard lots of stories about stuff ever since I was a young child.

There are lots of ways I don't want to go.

I do like the idea of my husband and I sparring with sharpened swords, and killing each other. It's kind of romantic, I think, to die in my dying lovers arms, our blood mingling beneath us...

It seems much better than leaving it to chance, because chance can bring lots of exceedingly painful and slow ways to die.

Hopefully, on the top of my favourite hill in the Mortimer Forest
on a perfect warm summer's day under the bluest of skies
with Buzzards, Red Kites and Swallows gliding and swirling
above.

I do, alot. It makes me appreciate what I have, and do things I wouldn't normally do. I suppose it gives me confidence. If you have a death sentence hanging over you then there are no inhibitions, I'm not bothered about dying, I just hope it's quick and painless, prob like most other people, who would like a long drawn out painful death?

Im hoping to die in my sleep, to just not wake up one morning. Seems like it would be the smoothest possible transition from life to death.

Ideally, I'd die during a bank robbery, or during a top secret spy mission.
Wish me luck!

No clue. But I have considered martyrdom if I ever go to another country as a missionary.

I want mine to be a big spectacle with hundreds of witness, the kind of death where people think about it later on and say "damn that had to suck"The kind that makes people pass out from disbelief

I've decided that I'd prefer not to freeze to death if at all possible. I'd rather burn, or drown, or any number of other unpleasant things, but freezing...it would be unpleasant and very drawn out.

That's one of the respects in which I've thought of it.
