. . . to answer a hateful question such as the following

"Why is the Pope the anti-Christ?" (obnoxious)

"Why are all atheists pigs?" (offensive)

"Why don't all pagans know they're going to Hell?" (horrible)

Why are all believers stupid ignoramuses? (Shameful)

Etc., etc., etc.

Would it be against guidelines to post the following answer to such questions"

I do, too! And I admit, I reported them when I first started . . . the really horrific, cruel ones.

But, Heavens! I soon realized you could get carpal tunnel just from reporting the cruel and hateful questions on R&S, and they would just crop up again and again.

Staying on top of reporting mean, offensive posts here is like trying to herd cats. . .

. . . can't be done

I agree with Pangel.

I have seen one like this:

"Should all believers be sterilized?"

I think the questions such as you listed violate Community Guidelines.

The sad part is that I see such questions asked every day....over and over.

some people bypass loopy with the record button. I see Yahoo is now warning individuals to ascertain the community policies are being violated in the past reporting. this might initiate costing individuals factors for reporting issues that are actually not a contravention.

Yep. Anything that doesn't attempt to answer the question is a violation - even if the question itself is a violation..

I learned that the hard way.
