since when is that true? not all guys are mean you just need to find a decent one, you cant let 1 or 2 bad experiences change your views of every guy

Because, historically they have gotten away with it. Why you ask? Well, women are taught (brainwashed) into thinking w/o one, they are toast. We all know that just isn't true, w/o one you have less trouble.
If women today would not take the garbage men dish out, that would solve the whole problem. They think it's "a man's world", well I have news for the ones that think that, women make up the vast majority of humans on the planet.
Just think how things would change if young girls were taught to excel in school, sports, and not be so concerned with boys. Also, older women would get a clue and toss the bum out when he treats her bad; cheats, controls or abuses.
What a great world it would be! So ladies, when will you start?

Perhaps it is the old discussion of the "biological imperative" - guys are always looking to spread their seed as far and wide as possible and have to be socialized to stick to one partner especially after they have gotten sex from them. May not explain all of male behaviour but it could be a starting point for other ideas.

Most guys base their relationship decisions on a want for sex. I suggest you try a church, but even those guys are often players... Well there are definitely good guys out there. Keep your eyes open.

i have been going out with the same girl since 5th grade off and on and i havent dated anyone else. but shes dated 2 other guys and i can let it go. not all of us are players. i love my girlfriend more than anyone could ever imagain.

because its like a tradition sum feel as if they gotta be a player its like they have to live up to being a jerk . it's not all guys but its is like 98% of them who do who act like this .

that's such a generalization. it's like saying "why do blacks like hip hop and basketball" or "why are Asians so nerdy" or "why are gay ppl so flamboyant"
