GM dumped FIVE brands in the USA and more in EUROPE! CURRENTLY they are CHEVY and GMC ( nearly the SAME) BUICK, and CADILLAC! They USED to have HUMMER,PONTIAC, OLDSMOBILE, SAAB. Many later model PONTIACS are really from AUSTRALIA made by HOLDEN CAR COMPANY< one that Gm bought YEARS ago! They also are VAUXHALL and ISUZU, and DAEWOO< while they DUMPED OPEL to the Germans, ( THANK GOD!) THEY TOTALLY RUINED SAAB by COMPROMISING where they could to make MORE MONEY on it's IMAGE! They used CHEAPER water pumps and timing belts and the WRONG COOLANT 0 DEXCOOL that ruins GM gaskets around the WORLD! OLDSMOBILE was just INFERIOR as a car company and they dumped SATURN due to LAWSUITS over trannies, the SAAB engines they butchered, and the fact that they were losing MONEY on it! I OFTEN WISHED I ran GM because they need SERIOUS SERIOUS HELP! ALL their cars from the 80's and 90's and even in the 200's are lining up JUNK YARDS all over the place! THEIR STAPLE is the 4.3 V6 made from the castings of the 350 chevy of OLD, and the 3.8 liter ENERGY WASTING BUICK engine that works like a MAYTAG washer! Nearly AL their offerings are UNDER developed and STILL they have issues with SAFETY< CRASH TESTS and even for COOLANT and IGNITION switches! MORE RECALLS and lawsuits will arise SHORTLY as the new CHEVY/CADDY 3.6 engine is found to FAIL for durability tests and dump timing parts at warranty end! GM CEO:"S do NOT seem to care what happens to YOU or your investment AFTER that 60 k miles WARRANTY PERIOD IS UP! They make the PERFECT rental cars for NATIONAL and other rental agencies! They STILL do NOT park like a REAL CAR does, and suffer from loss of control in PANIC stops! WHY DO THEY NOT SEE THESE THINGS and DEAL WITH THEM! They could hold MARKET SHARE if they ONLY engineered things FULLY and tested THOROUGHLY! WHAT a WASTE! BYE NOW!
