I don't have any favorites but I am closer to some more than others but I still don't favor them over another sibling. This just cause more problem in a family. My sister favor another sister over me. For example, some times my sister is wrong but she still defend her. How do I deal with such thing? I am not jealous but I just don't know why people do this because that just would mess up your relationship with other family members. What your opinion?

its normal to be closer with someone you share values, experiences, time and ideas with......and it could also be that you admire them and so your affection gets centred more on them than other siblings. I like all my brothers/sister, but I do favour my brother just younger than me, even though he is a bit of a black sheep, we did a lot together and he has a heart of gold underneath all his problems

I think that the reason my be because, they maybe closer in age together. I am six and seven years different than my brother and sister. And my brother and sister are only 18 month's different, which makes them closer in age, they were in the same school and had the same friends, which left me out of the picture cuz they are close in everything. Maybe from your other sisters veiw your other other sister IS right? When it comes down to it I bet you that she really doesn't have a favorite and she just kind of takes her side and stuff cuz maybe they are both see things the same way cuz they are sisters and you got your point of veiw on that subject from a different family member? I don't have a favorite sibiling.

All sisters are going to do that, team up with another sister,
just to be a pain in the rear end.
When it comes down to it, I think she loves you both the same.
But if you think she is, ask her?
Not like she'd come out with it.
Maybe, maybe not.
But just let her know that you think that she's picking favorites && it's bothering you.

i have a sister and a brother and i am way more closer to my brother. sometimes it is just way easier to be around one than the other. my sister gets on my nerves way too much for me to handle. but my brother is more easy to hang out with. i guess it just depends on their attitude or the way they act or maybe how much they have in common.
