It has to be "Ich liebe dich FÜR immer"
or "Ich werde dich immer lieben" if you want to keep the future tense in the sentence.
more common is "Ich liebe dich für immer und ewig" - This emphazises that the love will truly last forever. This also is how I say it to the one I love :-)
But again, actually the correct translation would than be "Ich WERDE dich für immer und ewig lieben" - otherwise it has the meaning of "I love you forever".

I believe love can last forever yes, it is the relationship that might not last forever. Some people never get over someone they love, and never stop trying to get them back until the can't anymore. I think you can tell something is true love when it doesn't matter to you what happens to yourself, as long as the person you care for is happy even if it means them being with someone else.
