Have you every had a dream where....?

Question

You were dying, and were aware in your dream that you were, but yet you never woke up until the last possible second?

Like I had this weird dream the other night I was in a boat that capsized. I think it was because I was watching that special on that tall ship and the woman who went overboard...what an idiot that captain was but it was freaky watching those videos some of the crew took...guess that triggered the dream.

Anyhow, here I am in this capsized ship caught in the hull, no chance of escape. I knew it yet I was calm and just awaited my fate.

I floated up as the water pushed me to the tip of the hull, where my head was right up there and then the water rose past my shoulders and that was it. I physically felt myself inhaling the water and air bubbles too until there was no more air and right at that moment I woke up!!!

Have you ever wondered why you wake up at that last split second like that and what would happen if you didnt???? Dreams can be freaky! ;~)

I had a dream where I didn't wake up at the last second. I dreamed that I was a 9 month pregnant female soldier fighting in a WWII like setting (yeah, I know this is super inaccurate but hey-dreams are weird like that) And I got caught on the battlefield, wounded and left on a huge tree stump. An enemy soldier appeared, and without hesitation walked up to me, placed a pistol muzzle on my stomach and shot me point blank, I felt a burning pain in my stomach (I don't know about the accuracy of that as I've never been shot, but again probably inaccurate) and slowly everything dimmed as my brain filled with pain. I woke up briefly, fell back asleep and had another really weird dream.

I never got that close to death in my dreams. I had one that i still remember to this day. I was only 7 and i dremt my step father took me snow boarding. We were on a top of a snowy hill where other little kids and people were sliding down the hill in slays and boards. There was no fence on one side of a the hill/mountian and there was a big drop that went straight into the ocean at the edge of the fencless hill. I remember my step father saying "careful don't go near the edge." Somhow my snowboard/sled went right near the edge and i fell off/ I was just holding onto the ledge when he tried to save me. Eventually i slipped and fell. I was halfway down and then i awoke. I was all sweaty and my heart was rushing when i awoke. I think this dream was triggered by memories and people i met before that were all intwined with one of my worst fears. I was not afraid of heights, but rather falling off one into somthing sharpe. I was afraid of dying from a tall fall. I always thought that i was only a little shooken by heights, i was never really scared until i came near the edge(right up to it). Then i started to get shivers. Your dream was most likely triggered by the movie intwined with your worst fear. Drawning most likely is your worst fear, but maybe you don't know it yet.

woah yes I had this dream (lucid dream) once it was THE END OF THE WORLD. thousands of scary looking people were running all over the city and once they pass by you they kill you. so I was running and managed to hide down this sit. they passed me and all the sudden one of them came up and bent and saw me under the chair the freaky looking thing took a huge knife and cut my stomach and every single organ in it..i felt him cutting me but there was no pain. i was dead and i couldn't move i could see everything that was happening. the worst thing is this song that was playing in the background of those creatures it was very creepy

Not this particular dream. But I did dream that once we contributed to writing limericks, the initiator would choose the one she likes the best and not toss them out to the community after ignoring them for days.

Yeah, that is weird. I always get shot in my dreams, but I'm invincable. I walk around with my guts hangin out. But when ever I try to walk there's always holes in the ground, and I can't seem to dodge em...I don't get it!

I never had a dream where I died but I have had dreams that I am not able to get somewhere I am supposed to be..dreams are so weird!

yea dreams are crazy, i had a dream where freddy kruger was running around killing a bunch of people, then he killed me and i was just dead on the ground but i could still see. He ressurected me just so he could kill me again but i outran him because he was pretty slow..lol
