Do you know how many young girls would love to be a virgin? How many young girls feel so humiliated by allowing someone who did not give a hoot about them take their precious virginity? Why would you want to do that? What's wrong with being a virgin? You're too young to be thinking about such things. What does your mother say about it? Or does she know what you're thinking? Most girls want to be a virgin when they get married. It used to be the thing to do; to loose your virginity with your husband. You can't loose it but one time. It should be special with the one you love.
Don't do something that you may regret later. You should be talking to your mother not Yahoo about this.

if you mean how do you break your hymen, some times they get broken on their own (through vigorous sports activities) and not all females even have one and a broken or missing one doesn't make you not be a virgin anymore anyway. It's engaging in sexual intercourse that makes you not a virgin.

It's not hard being a virgin. At all. All you have to do is not have intercourse. It's not hard at all. I'm not having intercourse right now. You're 16, a bad age to lose your virginity anyways. If you really want to lose it to... yourself... use something smooth so it won't hurt too bad.

You'll regret it when you're older though. When your future husband asks "so, when did you lose your virginity" you'll be ashamed to tell him.
