I should point out that this truck ran fine one day, next morning wont run.when it starts,i have to keep the throttle about half,or it dies instantly.also when i get the rpms up and hold it it starts making a rapid small popping sound out the carb, not realy a backfire more of a crackling noise.

worse case timing chain
slightly better than worse stuck lifters or bad cam.
blue smoke tends to mean your burning oil...
you can check compression for bad rings, etc...

Okay it's possible you have a stuck float in the carb, try tightening all the screws you can replace the fuel filter yadda yadda yadda....

But I keep going back to the blue smoke as the heart of your prob... that's normally a bad sign that doesn't involve the carb at all

is the choke stuck -?

spray some gumout on the carb

may just need to have the carb rebuilt - may just be trash up under a valve/spring
