Anybody tried it? If you have, how was your progress?

Also, I know it says eat it for lunch and eat normal for dinner, but I have school. So can I eat normal for lunch (healthy at school) and then eat the cereal or the meal bar for dinner?

Yes, it is Ok.
It's always better to eat your main meal mid-day.
Try the red berries variety ~ it is the best !!!!!

I love Special K !!!
Highly reccomend the almond crunch one because after a while you get really sick of the plain one.

I'm 14, so I couldnt eat Special K at school either, so instead just like eat a Special K bar and sliced up apples or something. You shoudn't just eat special k + school food. Cause you get like calcium and stuff but what about the other vitamins. Unless u already get a vitamins at home i think u should drink a cup of orange juice or better yet eat oranges at school for your vitamin c intake (and i heard its good for your skin). or get a multivitamin before you get fully committed to the diet.

the diet works i guess. i didnt gain any weight but i didnt lose it much either. maybe 2 pounds? but it's probably because i wasnt fully committed. and i do eat like tons of chips on the side, so it is pretty good. but i heard cereal is high on carbs so you should add in some exercise too.

Of course it can be effective as one is severly limiting his calories. However, the weight is likely to return after you cease the diet. Also, it's not very healthy, as Special K is puffed rice with corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenated oils. There's nothing healthy in it. I don't buy Kellogg's cereals as they claim to be healthy and have junk in the ingredients. (Smart Start with the maple flavoring and raisins has nine listings of sugar in it. Ick.)

Overall, it's just a gimmick to sell cereal.

You might have better luck with Raisin Bran. It's more filling and provides fiber. My daughter tried Special K and was always hungry and constipated.

She switched to Raisin Bran and it worked.

It doesn't matter which meals you swap out. Just don't ruin the plan by oversnacking.

Good luck.
