Constipation is probably the #1 cause of hemorrhoids, aside from pregnancy. Also, straining at stool can bring them about too. More fiber may be needed in the diet, or even a stool softener. Talk to your physician.

Jigd2001 is completely wrong. The person who said that constipation is the cause is right. Straining to move your bowels forces blood into the little veins and vessels in your rectum. Then when they get to swollen, they bulge. Sometimes when they get really bad, they can push out of your anus. When that happens you need to see a doctor. Right now, drink more water and eat more fruits and vegetables. Adding a fiber supplement to your diet would be a big help too.

Hello. It can be because irritating foods, chocolate, coffe and other things that are strong. You can also get them because of stress. Eat safe and good and you will have less frecuent reactions...
