Dogs are pregnant around 63 days. You need to have her checked by the vet to make sure she can safely deliver the pups and you need to know how many to expect so you know if there are complications.

Since you don't know the exact date of their first tie, the absolute best way to find out, when she will be delivering her puppies, is to have a vet, do an x-ray! If she is not under a vets care already, she really needs to be. They will be able to tell you exactly how many puppies she is carrying and approximately when to expect them. Another way to tell, is to take her temperature rectally. Buy a digital thermometer, take her temperature three time a day, and leave the thermometer in for 3 minutes. Put a little Vaseline on the tip of the thermometer, because it's easier to put in and more comfortable for her. Once her temperature drops to 98, and remains that way, she should be delivering her puppies in the next 24 hours. She will stop eating, get very restless and uncomfortable, start looking for a place to have her puppies, if she hasn't already and start nesting! Do not leave her alone, in case she needs help! Make sure you have a whelping box set up in a nice quiet, warm room, away all other animals and people. Puppies cannot retain their own heat yet, so it is very important, that they stay very warm. I can't stress to you enough how very important it is, to have a vet standing by, especially if you have never delivered puppies before, and you need them to help you deliver the puppies or if God Forbid, she has complications, and she needs a C-Section to help her deliver those puppies. After she has the puppies, hopefully with no complications, you need to have her Spayed! She will be much happier and healthier in the long run! Good Luck! Hope all goes well!
Add: She really should not be outside right now. You need to bring her inside to get settled and have those puppies!

Your dog is pregnant!!! She will probably have puppies this month. She's eating more cause she is expecting.Your dog needs the extra protein and energy for her puppies to be healthy. She's breathing heavy because she will soon deliver. And she's not playing anymore 'cause she is tired and needs rest.

she is due anythime and should have been bought in about aweek ago.
You should be taking her temp when it goes below 99 degress then she willhave them in 24-48 hours.
Dogs cary for an average of 63 days but a week either way isn't anything new.
I wish you luck
