No. If you are in bankruptcy you don't own it, the bankruptcy court does since it is (or was before you wrecked it) an asset.

You should wait until the bankruptcy is over, while the trustee probably won't expect it to produce much money, you are prohibited from selling any of your property without court permission during your bankruptcy.

No you can't keep it. You were entitled to a car worth up to about $6300 under the Bankruptcy Act, but you lose that protection if you sell the parts.

Sorry to tell you this but the bankruptcy court trustee owns all of your possessions and they will liquidated all of your assets to pay off any creditors.
