Masturbation is not a sin unless it becomes obsessive. We need to focus on spiritual matters.

No, it's not a sin. Onanism refers to his refusal to carry on his brother's name at a time when the Israelites were trying to build up their population.
The world has plenty of people now.

Masturbation in itself is NOT a sin, the fact that Onan disobeyed god was why he was punished...
