Kait- God is waiting for you to come back to Him. Take that first step- you took that step away, now just turn around and you will see Him running toward you. If you know Jesus, nothing can ever make you lose your salvation- so if you know Jesus He is just waiting for you to return. take that first step- read your bible and pray.

I need to know what kind of faith you have to know what you need to do/know. If Jesus Christ has become your Savior what you need to know is He is unchanging and faithful. He hasn't moved.
If you have been hurt/betrayed by someone God is not the one who made that happen. People have free will to choose their actions and some act very badly.
If you hoped God would do something for you and He didn't and you feel He let you down...We all have times when We hope that God will "pull a rabbit out of a hat" for us. When He doesn't we may feel angry. However, God has never let you down, He has a different view of events and sees the long view down your road in life.
I've known Jesus for 37 years; He's seen me through deaths, miscarriage, health problems, financial stress and all the normal things of home and family. He's never let me down in any way. But there were times when I felt confused and upset and got angry at God. He's been very patient with me.
Not knowing what has started your faith-crisis, I am attempting to encourage you, "in the dark, so to speak". That is not an effective way to help someone. It is normal for any believer to have doubts about things, once in a while. If this continues to trouble you I'd recommend you talk to someone trustworthy who can counsel/aid you in some way! Jesus said, "I will never leave you, I will never abandon you"! Jesus doesn't lie; He just can't!

You did not mention where your original faith was... so I just have to guess. If you were raised in the Christian faith, you may want to look more closely at what you were being taught. If it was the Pauline gospel of sacrifice for sins... then the road back to real spiritual life is quite straightforward...
Simply focus on the Original Kingdom Gospel rather than the Pauline Gospel that came along later. That might help bring an awakening. This resource will explain what I am talking about.

Understand better that the plan of God has merit beyond the understanding of humankind.
Read Psalms 22 and know this was the crucifixion foretold hundreds of years before it happened and know God is true to His word. Faith needs nourishment in the Word. Study and learn and you will have faith. Pray and ask for His blessing. Pray always and you will be heard.

Oops, There are 2 Kaits out there. If you have lost your faith in God I would question if you really had a saving faith to begin with.. Once you are firmly in the hand of Jesus, no one can pluck you out. Remember God has said he will never forsake you nor leave you. So if you truly do love God, he has never left you. But it is possible that we can forsake him by the deceitfulness of sin. Many people backslide, meaning they know the truth but love their sin more than the truth and therefore are backslidden in sin. If Jesus comes back and you are backslidden and in the act of forbidden sin you will be punished with the unbelievers . And in fact your punishment will be worse... Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
Get on your knees, repent of your sin and pray for forgiveness then go and sin no more. Jesus is standing there with arms wide open waiting for you. He loves you and wants you back.
