It is believed that early Christians did often believe in reincarnation until the church fathers decreed it against orthodoxy. I have never met a Christian who believed in reincarnation, although there are surely some.
I for one, find no appeal in it. Puberty was bad enough once, the thought of going through it in multiple lifetimes is appalling.

Reincarnation is based on the immortality of the soul.
The soul is not immortal.
If immortal souls existed, there would be no need for resurrection.
Jesus referred to himself as lord of the resurrection.

It was in the Bible and an accepted belief before the Bible censors took it out. Because it didn't serve their purposes anymore. Some quotes still can be taken as reincarnation supporting. Born again has been majorly misunderstood.
