and they did a few miracles that made it obvious he was special, and if they then took your loved ones and threw them in a big furnace, because they'd had sex outside marriage, would you try and stop them?

wait a minute... that is a valid point that you have... Jesus is the illegitimate child of Saint Joseph. The Virgin Mary was never married to God the Holy Ghost, either! She was a single mother when she was birthing God the Son Jesus Christ! This is the only reason why the Early Church Fathers came up with the brilliant idea to keep Mary a virgin for ever otherwise the morality of the whole affair would be very, very questionable and most likely unacceptable, but the perpetual virginity idea made Christianity to fly!!! In those days it was very easy to write any new dogma!!!
On top of all that God the Son Jesus Christ turned out to be a vicious killer of innocent children just like his Father in Heaven!
Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (Jesus says) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD. Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
Luke 19:27 (Jesus was very excited telling this story!) But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them–bring them here and kill them in front of me.
Only a bloody tyrant would talk like that! Christians demand a much higher standard of morality from their clergy, and the preachers, and the politicians than from Jesus Christ! That's hypocrisy! Why is it that in Christianity everything is KILLING… KILLING… KILLING… and more KILLING…??? Isn’t Christianity a Barbaric religion just like Islam? All the sugar coating in Christianity is so repulsive! Can any Christian understand? Please, reporting me is not the best answer it only proves how puny is the Bible God!

- God won't come down and say I'm God
- God doesn't kill people
- God respects Free Will

No need to worry. When Jesus comes everyone on earth will know it is Him.
I don't think God is quite like you are making Him out to be. He is like a good Father and friend.
You should get to know Him. You'd like Him.

rainman could do some miraculous things, but he was no god, anyone harming my loved ones would be summarily flayed alive, dipped in rock salt, and slowly carved up into shark bait
