In general I trust everyone until they give me a reason not to. However if it's something like loaning money, going somewhere with someone I don't know... I'm more leery. I'll find an excuse not to until I know them better. However, the loaning money thing is one I RARELY ever do even with those I trust. No easier way to lose a friend or piss off a family member than to get started loaning/borrowing money.

I look at the eyes, they give it away every time. You cannot hid what is happening in the eyes. I also just get a sense about a person also.

Trustworthiness

do they do what they say they will do when they say they will do it?

DO they Lie?
Do they Cheat?
Do they Steal?
Do they have double standards?

I submit to you that only someone who isn't trustworthy would have givine this answer a thumbs down...

Honesty in small,"insignificant" things.
If someone is dishonest is small things, he/she will probably be dishonest in larger things.
Dishonesty is dishonesty, large or small.

Whether they do as they say, keep their word. Whether they keep their counsil or talk smack about other people. A calm demeanor that doesnt take alot of chances.
