ps2 vs ps3?

Question

i have 2 little boys ages 3 & 5.
which do u think is better and practical for them to play with, ps2 or ps3?

note: there are NO other grown ups who will use this toy

PS2, there are lots of good games they will enjoy and if they like it in a few years time they can get a PS3 for a lot cheaper. The Ratchet and Clank and Lego Star Wars games as well as the Eyetoy and Buzz! Junior games are very good for kids and if they want a racing game the Burnout and Need for Speed games are very good.

Knock out the PS2 it is kinda uninteresting in comparison tot he different 2. i might say choose for the X-Box360 with the aid of fact it has greater effectual video games standard while in comparison with the two between the Consoles and that they have got exceedingly plenty the comparable valuable aspects (surely the 360 has greater because it may play CDs DVDs and so on...) get them a ps2 cause they mightlose the ps3 control but if there 12 then get them a ps3 or get them a wii the wii got alot of little kids games

i would go with a ps2 cuase its a lot cheaper and there r a lot of games out for it that r suitable for 3-5 yeaar olds. i wouldnt even think about getting them a ps3 till their about 12 years or older.

get the ps3, because the ps3 can play bluray and ps3 also can play ps1 and ps2 games and support cd and dvd.

if you get a ps3, make sure you get either a 20gb, 60gb, or 80gb ps3, because they play ps2 games. don't get the 40gb, because they remove to play ps2 games.

I'm changing my answer, get them the Wii. They are three and five years old. Getting them a PS3 would be like getting them a 2007 Jaguar CX-F Concept ( http://www.supercars.net/cars/3696.html ). No parent buys a child that car. The PS3 is too much for children that age. 3 and 5 year olds do not appreciate better graphics/gameplay/audio-save your money and stick with the ps2.
