My daughter has asked for an older movie. I'm about to order it online but instead of saying DVD it says CD Audio, does it mean it's the old technology and the sound won't be as good?....

it means its a CD that only plays music, not a DVD that plays music and vidio.

no its not old technology, its just the soundtrack meaning it can only be played in a CD player, not a DVD player

No, that CD Audio is the music from the DVD movie...Get the DVD if you want to watch the movie. The CD is just the compilation of songs used in the movie.

an audio cd is the same as a regular cd. No video. A dvd is a movie.

DVD is the new technology, as it seems you already know.

Now, a CD audio is probably the soundtracks for the movie in question. So you'll only be getting the songs, and not the movie.

If you order the third item on that list, it's the audio CD soundtrack, not a movie. The second item is the most recent issue of the movie on DVD, and probably what she wants.

The audio CD in this case is the movie's soundtrack NOT the same as the actual movie.

No, that means it is a CD and not a movie. You want it to say DVD.

CD audio and DVD are different. If it's something she want's to WATCH, you need the DVD. If it's something she wants to listen to (like in a car stereo), you would want a CD
